Digital Visual Interface (DVI) and Digital Flat Panel (DFP) are the two digital video interfaces. These are designed specifically for high performance data transmission applications and developed to meet the requirements of digital video, digital telecommunications and parallel computing applications. • DVI • Digital Visual Interface is now the most widely used digital interface and the future of all video display, developed by a subset of the VESA membership (The Digital Display Working Group), is led by Intel and a number of PC and graphics card vendors. DVI uses Enhanced Video Connnector (EVC). • DFP • Digital Flat Panel uses HPCentronics 20 and 26pin connectors. With the PanelLink technology in use, it will ensure seamless connectivity with digital flat panel monitors.

**Notes:
Although both standards are based on PanelLink technologies and use the same electrical specifications, they use different connectors and pin configurations. QVS DVI cables supports both Single and Dual Link Panel Displays. Dual Link digital cables allows high speed digital transmission up to 9.9Gbps and can be use for Single Link application. Single Link digital cable allows up to 4.95Gbps. All DVI cables works with any DVI flat panel display except for Apple’s ADC port.
